The Billini Hotel, Colonial Zone- illustrated Architectural Guide

The historic Billini Hotel in Santo Domingo is located in the colonial zone with a luxurious style and an antique touch thanks to the use of the original walls from the 16th and 17th centuries. It has a rooftop bar with a swimming pool and incredible views of Santo Domingo.

The Billini hotel historic luxury is a project that recovers three properties of historical value and their surroundings, and reinserts them in the Colonial city of Santo Domingo, declared a world heritage site in 1992. The properties date back to the 15th century and were completely restored and recycled based on an avant-garde design that expresses modernity and elegance, which combines colonial details, quality finishes and spectacular views of the surroundings, making them one of the most luxurious hotels in Santo Domingo.

The Billini Hotel is a group of properties that establishes a contrast between the old and the modern, respectfully enhancing the history of a patrimonial asset rich in details and elements and housing the modernity of a simple architecture that, far from competing with the ancestral building and its surroundings, achieves its integration to the new use with the highest standards of luxury and technology, thus guaranteeing a comfortable stay full of history and culture of colonial Santo Domingo.

The capacity is 24 rooms ranging from 260 to 350 square feet. Each room is different, with its own unique charms such as terraces, gardens, views of the church, outdoor Jacuzzi, natural light inlets, exposed walls, window sills, integrated water well covered by glass and connecting doors. All the rooms are equipped with intelligent systems of air conditioning, audio, illumination and Internet.

The rooftop terrace houses the outdoor recreation areas: the terrace and the pool, which have splendid views of the Colonial City; in special, a spectacular view of the church creates a unique atmosphere. In the basement there is a massage room, a gymnasium, the business center, guest bathrooms, offices, the laundry and a technical room.
